Hundreds of thousands of young people did not get to experience their first festivals because of the closure of Covid.
We believe everyone should be able to experience a festival by the time they turn 18.
So if you turned 18 (or will turn 18) between September 1st 2019 and 31st August 2023 then this is the place where you can apply for a festival ticket for just £18.

We’ve drawn inspiration from Italy, Germany, France and Spain where everyone turning 18 gets a voucher from their Government to spend on culture. This is our first step towards trying to establish something similar here in the UK.

The Association of Independent Festivals is a Not For Profit Trade Association that supports, networks and empowers festivals in the UK. We facilitate festival promoters to connect with one another.
We run campaigns and advocate for our members, providing a collective voice for the independent festival sector to Government, media and the wider industry. We provide business support and encourage best practice with training, seminars and events.
Motivation for this campaign came out of Covid, where for two years no festivals took place, and hundreds of thousands of young people missed out on attending their first festivals. It was also inspired by Italy, Germany, France and Spain where everyone turning 18 gets a voucher from their Government to spend on culture.
This is our first step towards trying to establish something similar here in the UK. So sign up, spread the word, and go create new festival memories.
